"Ayyy! Lunch break dudes! Who wants some McDicks?!" Alfred hollered through the bustling conference room.

"Ooo! Me! Me! I do!" You replied back to your idiot of a friend, hell bent on burgers.

You and Alfred have been friends for god knows how long. You don't even remember how such a friendship happened. It was probably something insane, extreme, or something a person wouldn't exactly flaunt proudly to the public. Well, any normal person. You and all flaunted it like you owned it; which is why you were such good friends in the first place.

"How about let's not and say we did. You've eaten bloody hamburgers for the past MONTH every single day at every meal of the day! Try something else for one you moron." Arthur commented, a twinge of annoyance lacing his voice as he rolled his eyes.

That there was your other close friend: Arthur. He had quite the snotty little attitude, some hella huge eyebrows, and some deep emerald toned eyes. You had always loved the way they sparkled in the right ray of sunlight... Okay, let's face it, you LOVED the way they did, and just about everything about him to go along with it. He was a super adorable tsundere, and his accent was so sweet and awesome. Far awesomer that Prussia. You pretty much loved everything about him. BUt, as usual, he still wasn't too fond of hamburgers, and his moody side was showing again.

Alfred had a white girl-esc look of shock on his face as he scoffed loudly at Arthur. "Dude! Calm down! There's nothing wrong with having burgers like, every day! Nothing!" He argued, earning an equally as un-amused scoff back from Arthur. He then leaned over to you, and whispered in your ear. "Someone's got his knickers in a knot!"

"Don't be mean! He's just not as fond of fast food as you are!" You whispered back, defending Arthurs statement slightly.

"You're only saying that because you like him~!" Alfred snickered in your ear.

"S-shut up you ass!" You retorted, blushing at his comment as you gave him a light punch on the shoulder in denial.

"Well, I'm not going to that fast food joint with any of you." Arthur piped up sharply, catching your attention again.

"Wait!" You called, stopping him as he had gotten up to exit the room. "Are you sure you don't wanna come? We're all going, and it may not be the same without you." You added, hoping the comment would detour his thoughts and swing them around to come with you.

"Yes, I am absolutely sure. Good day." He replied bluntly, walking out the heavy door and letting it shut with a fairly loud slam.

"Whoa..." You murmured, quite shocked at how abrupt he was. "I've never seen him like this before."

"Actually, he's kinda been like this all week." Al spoke up. "He seems kinda down and upset a lot recently. Or, at least that's how it looks. I think he needs some cheering up."

"Really... I, almost want to go after him now."

"You should! After all, you do li-" Alfred began, but soon became cut off by your hand covering his mouth.

"Not. In. The conference room, Al." You said between clenched teeth, staring at him with piercing, yet embarrassed eyes. "And for the bloody record, I AM going after him. Good day." You added with a slight smirk as you took your hand off his mouth and turned for the door.

"Yee! You go girl!" Alfred hollered with a fist pump.

"Oh, shut up you bloody idiot!" You yelled back at him as you shoved the doors open and ran down the halls in pursuit of Arthur.

You ran through various maze-like halls and a couple double doors before you had finally managed to spot the Englishman just walking past a common room, decorated with white plush couches for waiting. You stood just around a corner for a moment, deciding on whether you should actually go and talk to him. He was being pretty grumpy, and the last thing you wanted to do, was to provoke your crush to possibly become annoyed with you, or possibly hate you even. But, regardless of those pursuing negative thoughts, you pulled yourself together and stepped out from the corner and ran up to him with lightning speed, even though you really didn't need to run.

"Hey Iggy!" You called out to him, using his popular nickname to get his attention.

"Hmm?" The Englishman hummed, stopping to turn and see you panting heavily as you came to a halt just a few feet behind him. "There's no need to run _______. We ARE indoors..."

"I, I wanted to catch up to you before you left!" You gasped between your labored breaths.

"Well bloody hell, you look like you're about to collapse for god's sake! Sit down before you do." He mentioned, leading you towards the nearby couches and sitting you down on the closest one. "So, why are you running all the way out here like a mad woman?"

"Well..." You paused, collecting your thoughts before you spoke. "I was kinda wondering why you've been seeming so down lately. You, haven't smiled in a while, and it concerns me."

Arthur sighed deeply and averted his eyes to the floor at his feet. "I haven't had a reason to smile _______. One doesn't just simply grin widely for no apparent reason without something behind the action.'

"Why are you so sad though?!" You  persisted, thinking it was depression.

"I'm not sad, I just don't want to smile for anyone." He responded simply.

"Lame!" You muttered under your breath, getting the impression that he was just born to be a walking grumpy pants.

The two of you sat there in silence on the couch for a moment, pondering your own individual thoughts for a good few minutes. Then, as your inquiring mind wandered a bit, you came upon a devious little idea that you knew could surely make the British man smile.

"You know what Arthur? If you're not gonna smile, then I guess I'm gonna have to make you!" You said suddenly with a grin.

    "Wha-!"

Arthur barely had any time to register what you were going to do before he was tackled off the couch and onto the carpeted floor, you beginning to tickle him lick the madwoman you were.

"W-what the hell?! G-get off me!" He protested, trying his hardest not to laugh.

"Nope! I want to see you smile before I do anything you wish!" You responded, smiling to yourself as you defied his plea.

You immediately moved your hands from his sides to his ribs - a well known sensitive spot on almost anyone - and sent him into a small fit of giggles that he tried to mask with his hands. But, him being strong, he went against you, refused to let your plans be carried out and pushed you off of him, that small smile you thought you got out of him disappearing and becoming replaced with a sort of nasty scowl as he scooted a few feet away from you on the floor.

"Ugh. No fair. I only wanted you to smile for once!" You pouted, crossing your arms and sticking out your lower lip in defeat.

When you took a glance in Arthur's direction though, what caught your eye was almost remarkable. You seen a smile on his face that didn't look forced or fake. It was genuine, and it held a hint of mischievousness in it
as a playful glint flashed in his green eyes.

"And I only want to get you BACK!" He suddenly exclaimed.

Before you could comprehend it, Arthur had jumped on you and started to furiously tickle your sides with revenge, causing you to burst out laughing. You tried your hardest to push him off of you, but his weight was more than yours, and he was far stronger than you, making you fail miserably at your feeble attempts to push him off.

"A-Arthur! G-get ohoff!" You managed to sputter out through your giggles.

    "Nope~!" He chimed.

Eventually, he moved his hands from your sides to your waist, making you jerk and twist under him. You began to screech out with laughter, begging him to stop. He ignored your pleas though an slipped a hand under your shirt, lightly dragging the tips of his fingers across your stomach. Your response was a loud squeak as you tried to slap his hand away, covering your mouth with the other in terrible attempts to get away.

He kept this up for another five minutes, relentlessly exacting his revenge that tripled the small attempt you took at him, putting you at a better position for revenge than him. Regardless, he eventually stopped and got off of you, letting you breathe for yourself.

"Arthur, I..." You began to speak, still panting heavily as you tried to refill the air in your lungs.

"Thanks for getting me to smile." He interrupted, flashing a genuine smile in your direction.

You sighed happily, smiling yourself. "You're welcome." You replied, finally catching your breath. Then, you got the urge to ask him a little question, considering Alfred had provoked the thought first, and you were here now, doing what you did. "E-eh, Arthur, there's something I Kinda wanna tell you. Since I'm kinda in a moment and... well< I kinda li-!"

Your sentence was cut off by Arthur taking your face and pulling you into a gentle kiss. Caught off guard, you were stuck in complete shock and didn't know what to do as a pinkish blush rose to your face. Eventually, the movement of this surprise kiss relaxed you, and you began to slowly kiss him back, overcoming the slight surprise.

After a few more seconds, he broke the kiss when the need for air became apparent to the both of you.

"_______, there's no need to say it. I Like you too. Wait, no, correction. I love you." He told you with a small smile. "Also, what would you say if I asked you to accompany me on a date tonight to a restaurant that  isn't McDonalds?" He added.

You paused, and felt a great amount of joy swell up inside you. You were robbed of your words for a few moments as you grinned like an idiot until you found them. "I would say yes of course!" You replied with joy.

You were about to embrace him in a warm hug before you heard the distinct chime of your phone going off in your pocket. You quickly pulled it out to check and see who was intent on bothering you at this exact moment.

"Who texted?" Arthur asked, leaning over to see your phone, quite curious as well.

"Alfred. He wants to know if I'm still going to McDonalds with him and the others." You look up at Arthur before smiling and quickly shooting a text back.

    "What did you say?"

"I told him that he's gonna have to wait for another time. My schedule is currently full, and I don't have time for his pointless burgers." You replied, smiling.

Arthur laughed before you threw your phone behind you and onto the couch, him taking you and pulling you into the awaited warm hug, your arms around his neck and his around your waist.

You felt so good to have finally let your feelings out towards him this afternoon, and it only made you feel even better to hear that he felt the same for you too. You were finally with the man you had been crushing on for a few good months, and you could safely say, you could have never felt better than this moment, right here, right now.
